DARK ILLUSIONS: THE FINAL CHAPTER
Draft Synopsis:

Kat's life turned out differently than she ever imagined it would. One day she was being chased in an alleyway and now she's wondering who this man she fell for is. Well, she's tired of all these rules Julian thinks he can impose on her. Being Awakened means little when you feel like a caged animal. What good is being immortal if you're no freer than a human?

It's time Kat and her boys have a little fun. If the prince has a problem with that? He can take a seat with the others.

Kat knows what everyone has kept from her and why she was led into this world. You can't hide the truth for long. The world needs a wake up call. The Awakened leaders aren't the ones in charge anymore.

She is.

And you know what?
It's time they live by Kat's rules.

WEREWOLF STORY (need a title for it, [draft was wolf mountain version 2])

Draft Synopsis:

She hates him, but she craves him. He craves her and wants to make her his. As children they were close because both of their fathers were pack leaders which may make her craving for them understandable. Karra's father was Lead Alpha. The man who all the pack leaders stood behind and backed, so Verrick's father brought him most of the time.

As they grew up things changed. Verrick changed . . . and so did Karra. She became the first possible female to take the position her father holds which has never been done before. She's shown strength and special abilities which are the first of her kind. Her father has spent her entire life protecting her from everyone, including the one of the most vicious Alpha he's ever met: Verrick. As his disease progresses and he learns just how many Alpha's he's up against--trying to claim Karra--Willard decides to protect his daughter--and the packs--by arranging her marriage to Verrick. Something she is adamantly against as she believes she can lead the pack just fine . . . alone and she refuses to cooperate.

Up against threats from all over, including human hunters threatening their territory, Karra has decisions to make, but finds herself running from it all instead. She's not the only one being hunted by far, but suddenly she's become the most hunted prey of all the packs. Needing to protect herself, and her clan, she runs for her life only to find herself at the hands of the most vile werewolf ever to walk the earth: who takes pleasure in pain beyond what is normal. She needs to find a way out, but it looks like the one way out is into the hands of a man she swore she wouldn't ever submit to . . . or marry.

(May include those in various editing stages.)

SORCERESS SERIES (no title yet) Book Two, Book Three, Book Four, and Book Five.

Draft Synopsis:

May didn't expect her life to turn out the way it had. One second she was arguing with her brother, the next second things like mermaids with dolphin chatter when they laughed existed. Magic existed and it turns out? She might have just inherited the power to rule the magical realm. If that is, she could figure out how to even walk through a magical door without tripping on her own two feet.

Follow her through a discovery of powers beyond comprehension, demons wanting to use her, warlocks wishing to entrap her, and a big pain in the ass Prince who she just can't stop kissing. Even though he pisses her off every time he opens his mouth and forces her to wonder whether he actually an enemy and not a friend, even though if he kills her, he kills himself too.

Watch out for seductive demons; drakols who while not in their dragon form, wish to find a mate; and the powers of the earth which can 'cause major trouble if harnessed. Humans would like to keep shoving their heads in the sand and believing that magic just doesn't exist anymore, or that they have ways of making sure of that. But they haven't met May yet, have they?

By the way? Don't ever call her Maeve. It doesn't matter that it was her birth name. You may get an earful and even punched in the face.

Hope For The Future (rewrite) Sci-Fi Fantasy

Draft Synopsis:

In a world where females can't have children, the human race have evolved to suit their needs. The people have become detached, cold, without hope for anything better. They've learned to adapt to survive and since the likelihood of females able to conceive has dropped, they've become something more, something that can live longer. A new human race called Amaranthine's.

The world didn't collapse as they predicted, but all those predictions were a precursor to something far worse than anyone could have ever imagined.

Hope doesn't remember everything about her past. What she knows is that she's been through hell and back and finally gave up thinking humans could survive this new age. When her heart is ripped from her chest and the only one she's ever loved has been killed in front of her, she refuses to believe she can love again, or that this world deserves her love. How can it when the world left her in a cold dark alley, in the middle of nowhere, in pain and alone? And dying.

Hope remains hidden within herself because if they find out her secret, she could end up being dissected or worse . . . used as a vessel for far more disturbing things. When she gets angry however, it's harder to remain hidden and things have a tendency to explode . . . even people.

This man Ronin comes along and tests everything she's ever known. He's a pain in her ass taunting her, tormenting her, challenging her, refusing to go away, and opening her up in ways she's never known that unnerve the shit out of her. So many years she's made sure nobody could get under her skin, but here he comes with his smug attitude, cocky demeanor, and brown eyes that penetrate her to the core. He seems to understand and accept her in ways she didn't think existed, and as much as he pisses her off, she keeps coming back for more. But worse? She enjoys it.

Darrok has taken over the world, along with his Associates who decide the fate of all with their strict rules, money, and view on how things should be run. When he bumps into Hope however, there is something about her that he focuses on, senses can give him the one thing he craves most in this world. The hunt begins.

Ladies and Gentlemen….

Normally, right about now, I would feel inclined to continue with “and children of all ages” (guess I’ve been to the circus just one time too many) but this time instead of introducing some dancing bears or the Flying Wallendas, I’m simply here to introduce myself. My name is Tracie Dee . I’ve been writing for about 4 years now and got my start blogging on MySpace. I love writing but these days, I’m also finding enjoyment with vlogging. I have found that videos are a nice way to share what words alone might not give justice to and also for people to really get to know the person behind the words and the keyboard. Overall, I consider myself to be a pretty down to earth and upbeat person, whose sense of humor can be a bit wacky at times. Hey, life can be rough and sometimes laughter and levity can be our only saving grace to help us get through it all. I consider it to be our very own little light at the end of the tunnel that serves to remind us that even during the very worst

Bucket Lists

"Its never too late to be what you might have been" – George Eliot I’ve been a late bloomer in pretty much every aspect of my life. Some of it was out of my control (I mean I really couldn’t help if Mother Nature has a twisted sense of humor and exercised it heavily on me during my teens and twenties) but I can’t put all of the blame for it on her, either. Some of it was also by my personal choice. And by that, I mean I used to be very shy and afraid of “what was out there” in the big, scary world so I would rarely try anything new or took any chances of any kind. I chose instead to do my best to hide away from life, tucking myself away from it safely like a tight little rosebud that had not yet bloomed. But there is a quote that says “And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” This was the case for me. As time went on, my rosebud shell grew more and more uncomfortable for me. So one day I just took a c

Silent relaxing sunday--wait it's Saturday. A day lost and found! :)

This week's   GBE   is about "Lost and Found." I know a lot of people some years back thought that I'd lost myself. I was even told it was the better part of myself. It took me years to figure out that it wasn't true. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I always believed it to be true. Until I finally had the courage to admit to myself, that they were in the wrong; not me.  That's the problem with some "friends." They aren't really your friends. Someone recently told me something that really hit home. It was profound even.  She said:  "The friend is not a friend. just a person with emotional gravity in your life."    Well that's true. Granted, the comment she had made was from a completely different happening, but still it works.  A lot of people are fortunate in having tons of close friends, even close friends that stick around their entire lifetime. I gave up on that notion a long time ago. I realized that mostly, friends w
