Dark Illusions: The Final Chapter Extended Teaser

Here is an extended preview of Dark Illusions: The Final Chapter for you guys. This is the excerpt/preview that is found in the back of the Dark Illusions: The Next Chapter. =================================================== Julian cleared his throat and Kat twitched. Maybe more than she should have. Her attention leapt to him. Around her his aura spun until she dug her nails into the table. Kat was aware of everyone in the room watching her, but she didn’t move or say a word. She clenched her teeth and felt Julian’s pleasure over it. “Kat, did you have something you wanted to say?” he asked, not just putting her on the spot, but convicting her as well. How can you do this to me? You will regret this. Her nails lengthened into the table and she further clenched her jaw. Speaking through clenched teeth, a deep growl slipped out as she said, “No.” Julian smiled and strode past her, his scent drifted over her, entangling her in its grip. His hand slid along the back

Immortal Separation - Official Page

What is Immortal Separation ? This is a book that I wrote last year, and one of the few novelettes that I've ever done, and that I may ever do. I try to write short stories a lot, but then they end up taking over. This was one of those books that I thought, oooo great, I am going to write this as full-length novel. Annnd . . . Not so much. Characters. They don't cooperate in my world. As you can tell by the title, it's about Immortals. I had originally planned on just having the male be the Immortal, but then again, the characters had other ideas. The book leaves a lot of room for me to expand on another book later on, but this is a definite short story. It's a quick, and fun ride. This is draft information, subject to change. Immortal Separation What if soul mates possessed the ability to heal each other, and connect with one another in more ways than one? In the future, scientists think it's fun to mess with DNA that they shouldn't, and alte

Ladies and Gentlemen….

Normally, right about now, I would feel inclined to continue with “and children of all ages” (guess I’ve been to the circus just one time too many) but this time instead of introducing some dancing bears or the Flying Wallendas, I’m simply here to introduce myself. My name is Tracie Dee . I’ve been writing for about 4 years now and got my start blogging on MySpace. I love writing but these days, I’m also finding enjoyment with vlogging. I have found that videos are a nice way to share what words alone might not give justice to and also for people to really get to know the person behind the words and the keyboard. Overall, I consider myself to be a pretty down to earth and upbeat person, whose sense of humor can be a bit wacky at times. Hey, life can be rough and sometimes laughter and levity can be our only saving grace to help us get through it all. I consider it to be our very own little light at the end of the tunnel that serves to remind us that even during the very worst

Book Review - Ancestor - Raymond Steyn

Find this book on Amazon here - Ancestor - Raymond Steyn  When I was first asked to read and review this, I was going to deny it until I read what it was about. Then I couldn't pass it up. I absolutely loved the idea that someone else was writing a book about Neanderthals being anything but the less-than-intelligent beings that they have been portrayed as. So I had to read this. See if this author took the story in a similar line as mine will be. Some parts were, most weren't thankfully. I am SO glad that I did read this though! Not only did this book keep me engaged, but there were some moments I found it hard to put it down. I am super thrilled that there will be another one. There were only two bits I didn't like, but one of them happened to be renewed when I finished the book. Well, mostly. The first was the first POV that parts of the book are in. They bothered me because I felt like those parts could've been richer and deeper if they weren't in first, but I

First prototype done!

I've just completed the FIRST prototype of my book. Now, I've mentioned to people that I am trying to discover a way to do hard cover books at paperback prices. And I may have finally figured it out. Yay! right? Big time. Not just for the people who want to purchase my book, but for me as well. On many levels. One, YOU get a custom book. And I mean custom. Two, I get to do something that I love. Three, I get the sale. The one major drawback to doing books via POD (Print-On-Demand), as anyone who uses that method can tell you, is the price. The sites I use (Lulu and CreateSpace) won't allow the people who sell the books to price them lower than whatever is the minimum. The one way we can, is by allowing third-party sellers to sell the book. As in small bookstores and the like. You've seen them. They're the ones you can buy from when you're on Amazon, for a much lower price. That's them. I enjoy that you can get the book for lower though. Well, the picture

Book Review - Louis L'Amour - Flint

Should really get to my books I have waiting to review. I've read them, and now I need to review so I can get them off my desk. :p This book doesn't have a book jacket. It's a hard bound with a bare cover with leather-like material. I had this book from a long time ago because my dad was a huge fan of Louis L'Amour. I know there are more of Louis L'Amour's books around here somewhere, at least one or two paperbacks, but I haven't been able to find them. As for Flint, I didn't really know what to expect. I think I was of the belief that it would be a bit boring. It's shorter than most books written nowadays, and being so old, I doubted it would keep my interest. I was pleasantly surprised by it. The writing is simple, the descriptions are as well. But somehow that lends an easily lost in style. I enjoyed this book. If you don't like westerns and the more basic style writing, you may not like it, but for me, it was an enjoyable read. When I s

3-4 positions left

Once I get my new site design set up and implemented, are there any people who'd like to write a guest post once in a while? Not book reviews, not author interviews. Articles outside writing. (Zeva is doing a cute whistle right now so I'll let her say hi to you as well.) Anything goes, as long as it isn’t about writing, books, hate, or selling. If you don't have a blog, yet would like to occasionally guest post, you're more than welcome to ask. I'm slowly trying to expand what I post on my website, and would love interesting articles to share. Want to tutor people on something? Want to share inspiring words? Recipes? Monthly exercise regimes? Some humor? Entertainment? How-To blogs? Vlogs? I’m looking for humor, love, family, spirituality, hope, personal security, pets, crafts, everyday life, recipes, exercise regimes, home-schooling, gardening, positive messages, improving your life, and the like.
