Cover Reveal - Dark Illusions: The Next Chapter

You've been waiting patiently for it and here it is. The cover for  Dark Illusions: The Next Chapter  and I am quite pleased to let you know that I'm also finished with the cleanup of  Dark Illusions: The Beginning .  Editor is going over it for a once over final inspection and if she says it's good to go, next week I will begin formatting it and getting it ready for republishing, which means then I move into editing the book below! Yay! All the Street Team members (Ariana's Warriors) will get that first, as well as those who went signed up to receive free copy. If you've purchased it and want me to send you a copy, go here,  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1J3vJcQpp6z3QSOHjIaFb6Mfm6-donFh3BdksnvAngCA/viewform  and fill it in. Weekend Writing Sat-Sun (June 8th - 9th) Tag #wwab to join in.

This weekend I will be trying to start Winged Shadows 2 , but for now, I will work today on Hope of the Future. Left it last week at 80,235 words.  If you would like to join in, and have others check you out, tag your posts #wwab and include link in area below. As long as you tag your post and share with #wwab, I don't care if it has to do with book writing, or just blogs. Saturday Updates:  HOPE OF THE FUTURE Starting the book at:  80,235 words . Just not getting time to write today. May be quitting soon and only gotten around 2,551 words  now. Aggravating, but we have a few dogs who don't want to be nice cooperative people today. Up and down, up and down. Oy.  82,759 and I'm going to end tonight with this. I can't concentrate with everything going on. It's making me an angry person trying to. Off to research for Winged Shadows 2. I was hoping to do it all week last week, but I couldn't get around to it. I do have the beginning scene in

Formatting your book for CreateSpace or other Print-On-Demand

Since I'm going to have to screenshot this (easier than typing it out) for a friend who's asked about this, I'm going to make a post. I am asked this question a lot by friends who are building their book for print, so I may as well help everyone. Otherwise I'll have to retype this a thousand times more. This is for the margins. I use the 5x8 template in CreateSpace (preformatted) to do my paperbacks. So below is what I use in those templates for my margins. I've made a tutorial for the CS template to add more chapters into the preformatted template here:  http://www.arianabrowning.com/2012/02/how-do-i-add-more-chapters-in.html Feel free to enlarge the photo by clicking on it, if you can't see it properly. I can't remember if I altered this in any way, or not. I may have because I spent time comparing and measuring all my paperbacks from people like Dean Koontz, and Stephen King, Keri Arthur, and all the others I have, so I'm pretty sure I may h

Well, since finishing the Dark Illusions series, I don't have a choice, but to work on the other two. I was going to start Winged Shadows 2 this weekend, but after I scheduled my newsletter, I forgot that I have to research the book and see what all I want to do with it. I've got all your feedback in my messages still and then I have a scene where Kora is telling Bradon off in my head. Apparently she is through with his shit, despite him thinking he's the one on top. Oh no, no, no, she says. Not anymore. Not when she has the boy to take care of. Since I've had no time this week, I will try to research next week and then start next weekend. Crossing fingers. I've been working on the updated Winged Shadows cover and the Dark Illusions: The Next Chapter cover too. The DD cover has to be updated because I used licensed pictures and will have to re-license this year, but I am still limited as to what I can use the cover for and I don't like that, so I'm mak
