Dark Illusions: The Beginning

The Awakened have existed since time began. Always there; never seen. Vampires with the ability to shapeshift into wolves, who retain many of the wolf abilities.

The clans have long since lived in peace with humans by an old order of law: nobody is to be Awakened without the Prince’s command. Those who do not follow the order of the prince, will meet true death. These laws were put in place to protect the humans and the Awakened so that they may co-exist peacefully—though some clans believe those rules outdated. ...

The Raaka have been idle far too long. They find no reason to peacefully live alongside humans. They believe humans were put on this earth for food and that’s it. It is time for the Runsasi Prince to step down and the Raaka clan to claim their rightful place as the true Leaders.

The Raaka Leader finds a woman who he believes will give him the advantage he’s been seeking for so long . . . a way in to the position he so craves: Prince of all clans. There is just one obstacle with the woman: she’s human. And she isn’t one to be pushed around.

If only the current Prince would only stay out of the way.

Time is running out for one of them. . . .

If you love writing and/or blogging, it's the place to go! Great people, great fun, what more could you ask for? FIRST LOVE When I first saw the topic for this week's GBE2, my first thought was of the friendship I walked away from just last week. He was one of my first love's. But I had already talked about it on a previous web post so I wanted something different. I just didn't want to focus on it. Today, while I was doing dishes, a.k.a inspiring myself, I thought of a different first love. To myself. I do too. I love myself. I may not always like myself... I mean come on, if you had to live with her 24/7 she might drive you batty too. But I do love myself. People can tell you so. I don't need to. Well I did, but... I'm digressing. I'm quirky, crazy (two different things there obbb...

Silent relaxing sunday--wait it's Saturday. A day lost and found! :)

This week's   GBE   is about "Lost and Found." I know a lot of people some years back thought that I'd lost myself. I was even told it was the better part of myself. It took me years to figure out that it wasn't true. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I always believed it to be true. Until I finally had the courage to admit to myself, that they were in the wrong; not me.  That's the problem with some "friends." They aren't really your friends. Someone recently told me something that really hit home. It was profound even.  She said:  "The friend is not a friend. just a person with emotional gravity in your life."    Well that's true. Granted, the comment she had made was from a completely different happening, but still it works.  A lot of people are fortunate in having tons of close friends, even close friends that stick around their entire lifetime. I gave up on that notion a long time ago. I realized that mostly, friends w...
