I've been reading--shocking I'm sure--a lot of e-books lately. Not just for pleasure, or reviewing, but also for education.
I like to see what other authors write like, how they do their words, and the point-of-views that they write from. See how they do it, learn the process, better my craft, and also to see what is most popular in each genre, and all the books written, in general.
It led me to google it. Crazy, right?
I found this great conversation going on about it and I was curious about what you thought? You don't have to read the article, but just answer a few questions like:
What are the POV's that you enjoy reading?
Do you like the narrator voice from each character throughout the books, in chapters, in entire books?
Do you like only one character's view the entire book?
Do you like first person?
Do you want to know what all the character sees and feels during the scenes?
Do you like the narrator to know everything and show it to you? Or....
Do you prefer the narrator to be a little less knowledgeable?
What about writing? Which POV do you enjoy writing from?
Which is most comfortable for you to write from?
Which is the one you like to use most?
Do you change your POV in each book?
Depending on the book genre, will you change it?
Should be a great conversation helper. :)

You know? I was originally writing my story in first-person narrative and after reading this story, I'm now thinking about changing it to third-person narrative. I still want to keep it focused on the main character, but I also want the audience to get to know the other characters somewhat better as well. I have a lot of fixing up to do...

The Into The Night and I published it through Amazon already. Oops! Oh well. I had a dream of how I would like the second book to be and it won't coincide with the story of the main character telling it. Then I have one that's been in the works for YEARS now and I made that first person as well...I'm going to be changing my tune LOL
