Trust your instincts, even when you're afraid they're wrong

There are times when we do things that we often regret, analyze too much over, worry that it wasn't the correct decision. I know I face that one a lot. The over-analyzing. I do it with decisions I make, with things I do, things I don't do. Everything and anything is over-analyzed to a bazillionth degree. I don't allow myself to feel bad, I just naturally am inclined to thinking too much. I have a scientists brain. I study and analyze myself, and others, for fun. As odd as that sounds. But honestly I have always believed that even though my mind becomes filled with a lot of fear based reactions and thoughts of should I have done that?, that yes. The answer to that question is yes , you should have. You should have made that decision. You should have said those words. You should have reacted that way. Because you were meant to. Now, I'm not this overtly religious human being. I'm not this destiny and fate girl. I do believe in some things, I don't in ot...

What is the Blogging Lounge?

I decided that this weekend would be left up to cleaning and editing. I've had a lot of dishes pile up (our dishwasher broke years ago and we haven't had the moolah to replace it) over the past week so that's one thing I have to catch up on. The other is the cleaning and organizing of my desk. Whenever I decide to do an out with the old, in with the new moment, I try to go through my entire room, and see what can get ditched. Mostly minor things that have piled up around my room or desk area that should be dealt with so I can have a clean work area. Nothing like a clean kitchen to make me want to cook all day, and the same goes for clean and organized work area. Production gets boosted. It's weird how such a little thing can make a drastic change. I am constantly changing--aren't we all--and try to redo myself overall a lot throughout each year. So when that feeling strikes me, as it has this week, I know I just need a change. In my private life there have be...

Weekend Writing Sat-Sun (June 1st - 2nd) Tag #wwab to join in.

Well, since finishing the Dark Illusions series, I don't have a choice, but to work on the other two. I was going to start Winged Shadows 2 this weekend, but after I scheduled my newsletter, I forgot that I have to research the book and see what all I want to do with it. I've got all your feedback in my messages still and then I have a scene where Kora is telling Bradon off in my head. Apparently she is through with his shit, despite him thinking he's the one on top. Oh no, no, no, she says. Not anymore. Not when she has the boy to take care of. Since I've had no time this week, I will try to research next week and then start next weekend. Crossing fingers. I've been working on the updated Winged Shadows cover and the Dark Illusions: The Next Chapter cover too. The DD cover has to be updated because I used licensed pictures and will have to re-license this year, but I am still limited as to what I can use the cover for and I don't like that, so I'm mak...
