    Definitely a person's reactions show who they really are because surprise in reactions strip a person of their social veneer.

    Oh I'd have to say reactions. Most people react in a raw state-vs acting in a rehearsed state.

    I think reaction. Normally you can tell a person's character through their behaviour & how they react in a situation either when doing something or not doing something. I was quite good at picking up on people's behaviour when i was working & running bars, I could judge someone & what they may or may not do just by looking at their eyes, which can actually give away quite a lot.
